Can The Words You Speak Limit You?

Can The Words You Speak Limit You?

The person that we talk to the most is ourselves. Most of us do not realize that we have a habitual negative self-talk pattern.

We tell ourselves things about ourselves that we would never tell any of our loved ones. Do the words you say to yourself matter? Can the words you speak limit you?

The words that you speak carry energy and shape your world, even the ones you whisper to yourself when no one’s listening.

If you speak negatively to yourself, then you can cause yourself to suffer from mental health issues, because you will find it difficult to love yourself, have an unhealthy self-esteem and image, and be less confident and motivated to create a fulfilling and purposeful life for yourself.

So, you may be wondering what are some of these negative things that you need to stop telling yourself. Let’s discover 10 such phrases next.

10 Phrases To Abolish

If you want to live a life that’s fulfilling, purpose-driven, and pleasing to your Creator, here are ten phrases you must completely abolish from your vocabulary starting today.

I Am Not Enough

This is the biggest lie you can ever tell yourself. You were created in the image of your creator, and therefore, it is impossible for you not to be enough.

Always remember that your value never diminishes, no matter what mistakes you have made and what you have gone through in life.

In fact, if you have gone through and overcome many challenges, then you are blessed because you can now teach the skills that you acquired to overcome these challenges to help others who are going through similar hardships.

I cannot

That statement shuts heaven’s flow over your life. Replace it with “With my creator, all things are possible. It is not about your power; it is about your partnership with your creator.

There is nothing you cannot do if you put your mind to it. Your life has infinite possibilities, and you have access to the wisdom within you to be able to do anything that you want to that is in alignment with your purpose and soul.

You can also connect with and access your creator’s intelligence, power, wisdom, and guidance to fulfill your purpose.

It’s Too Late For Me

Time does not disqualify purpose. Your creator’s timeline does not run on human clocks. If you are breathing and if you are watching this, then it is not too late for you to serve your purpose.  Time and your age do not disqualify your purpose.

I Will Never Change

The moment you believe that, you imprison yourself. You are not stuck; you are just rehearsing the wrong story. Change begins the moment you speak differently about who you are.

Always remember that you are here to grow so that you can then serve someone in a bigger and better way.

I Do Not Deserve It

Grace is not earned; it is given. Stop rejecting blessings because of past shame. If your creator forgave you, who are you to disagree with Him?

You deserve anything that is not harmful to anybody else, and it is in alignment with your soul qualities, which are love, joy, kindness, abundance, and peace.

I Am Just Trying To Survive

You were not created to survive; you were created to thrive. You carry the divine DNA, and you are therefore meant to create, expand, multiply. Speak from victory, not from victimhood.

You are an individualized expression of your creator. Abundance is all around you, and it is your birthright.  The sunlight, the wind, the trees, nature, the oceans, everything is created and here for you to enjoy.

I Will Be Happy When….

Conditional happiness is spiritual procrastination. Joy is not found in a destination; it is found in alignment. Happiness is the way. It is not a destination.

True joy is found in you being in alignment with your soul because one of the qualities of your soul is joy. Be happy and grateful for everything that you have been blessed with.

I Am Not Like Them

Comparison blinds you to your own calling. You are not meant to be like them; you are meant to complement what they are not.

Each of us has an aspect of our creator’s creativity so that we can be interdependent and serve each other with what gifts we have. If everybody were like us, then there would be nobody to serve.

Never ever compare yourself to others and kill your joy. They are not here to fulfill your purpose. They are here to fulfill their purpose.

They have their gifts, and you have yours. Appreciate what you have and start serving with that gift.

I Do Not Know My Purpose

You were created on purpose, with purpose, for purpose. Purpose is not something you find; it’s something you remember. It is within you. Ask, “Who did God design me to be?” not “What should I do?”

Your soul knows exactly why you are here, and it is for you to remember.  Sit in silence and ask your soul, why am I here? what is my purpose?

Maybe I Am Not Called

If you are alive, then you are called and have a mission and purpose to fulfill. Your breath is proof of divine assignment. The real question is not “Am I called?” it’s “Will I answer?”

You have been trusted with a purpose, or you would not be here. The sooner you discover that purpose, the sooner you can develop for it and the sooner you can deploy it in the service of others, and live a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

In conclusion, you now know the words that you speak carry energy and shape your world, even the ones you whisper to yourself when no one’s listening.
